Wines of Provence

Tailor made programs around local wines

In France we consider that a wine is first of all a “terroire”, a word which has no equivalent in english, meaning a combination of tradition, soil, history and climate. Here in Provence there are many terroires producing wines with very different personalities.

COTES DE PROVENCE, between the French Riviera and Saint-Tropez, a land full of sun and diversity where we of course produce rosé wines.

COTES DU RHONES, in northern Provence is known for some prestigious names such as Chateauneuf-du-pâpe and Gigondas.

BANDOL, a small apellation but fabulous red and of course the best rosés in the world.

CASSIS, the oldest appelation in France and probably the oldest vineyards with 2600 years of tradition. The most famous white of Provence.

BAUX DE PROVENCE, ofen forgotten but not once you tasted them. Produced in the most gorgeous part of Provence the wines of les Baux are splendid red full of body and sun.

But also the wines of the Lubéron in the Aigues country, the reds of the Ventoux in nothern Provence, the Côteaux d’Aix and the côteaux Varois, the secret AOC such as Palette and Pierrevert, as well as the sand wines of Camargue. A good region to get thirsty.

We’ll design for you a tailor made program around wine, which could include food experiences and of course some sightseeing.
