Camargue Sunset

At the border between Languedoc and Provence lays a place that everyone cherishes in France. A mix of far west, Provence and Andalusia: the CAMARGUE.

Second largest delta river in Europe it offers a landscape of ponds, rice fields, large beaches, reedbeds and fields, populated with wild horses, bulls, flamingos, and an impressive diversity of migratory birds.

Known for its breathtaking sunsets, its gardians (the local cowboy) riding the local white horse among toro heards, thousands of migratory birds making steps here such as flamingos, and a gastronomy based on local products such as the Camargue rice, it’s a region with a very strong identity.

We will pick you up in the middle of the afternoon and will bring you back at the end of the evening.

After a scenic drive through the roads of CAMARGUE you will visit the natural reserve of PONT DE GAU, where you will walk among thousands of flamingos and migratory birds. By the scenic CACHAREL ROUTE, and after photo stops, you will reach the little town of LES SAINTES-MARIES-DE-LA-MER.

After a promenade and a city tour, you will enjoy a drink by the sea and it will be the time for a dinner (not included), at your choice, a traditional local restaurant in a manade (ranch), a gastronomic one, or directly on the beach. In each one you will be able to enjoy the famous local specialties with a splendid view.

Your guide will take you to this/her secret spots to enjoy the famous sunset of Camargue, an image that will never leave you.
