A festival for the senses 2017-09-20T08:48:36+00:00

Project Description

Perfume, olive oil, flowers, wine and panoramas in the Grasse district

We’d like to offer you a sensory experience through the soul of Provence and the identity of the South. In the picturesque countryside of Grasse let us invite you to a journey through traditions, preserved and secret places.
After a drive through the réstanques (raised beds) we will start the visit with a 300 years old mill followed by a tasting of local specialties; then in an XVIIIth century “mas” you will learn the secrets of craft production of flowers, before learning to make your own sugar using flowers you will have handpicked.

By one of those typical charming roads you will reach Cabris, one of the incredible balcony villages of the Riviera, renowned for its panorama. Lunch in an authentic French restaurant. Then let us teach you pétanque, the famous Provencal game inspired by the antique roman balls.

The afternoon will be dedicated to perfume with the visit of an historic perfume factory in the heart of Grasse, the world capital of perfume. On the outskirt of the city you will visit Mougins, hometown of Picasso, a place with timeless charm, ideal to enjoy a glass of wine with a view, or choose one of the options below.

Experiences: Visit of “chez Audrey”  a flower production and workshop for flower sugar (15’), picking of flowers (in season), tasting of olive oil and different local products, visit a traditional mill (or equivalent), visit of an historic perfume factory, bistro lunch or French picnic, learn to play pétanque.
